Article Retraction & Withdrawal

Retraction
Articles published in the Journal of Economics Management may be retracted when:

  • The findings are deemed unreliable due to research misconduct or honest error, such as data fabrication, falsification, or miscalculation.

  • Plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or legal and ethical violations are identified after publication.

Procedure:
A formal retraction notice will be issued, and the article will be clearly labeled as Retracted. The retraction notice will remain permanently accessible to maintain the transparency of the academic record, in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

Withdrawal
Manuscript withdrawal after acceptance is strictly prohibited.
A withdrawal request may only be considered under the following conditions:

  • The authors identify fundamental errors that significantly affect the reliability or validity of the research.

  • The withdrawal request is submitted before the completion of peer review, accompanied by a written and well-documented explanation.

Unauthorized or unethical withdrawal practices may result in blacklisting of all authors involved for a period of two (2) years, prohibiting further submissions to the Journal of Economics Management.

Replacement and Corrections
If justified, an article may be replaced with a corrected version accompanied by a clear explanation of the changes made.

  • Minor errors will be addressed through an Erratum (for publisher’s mistakes) or a Corrigendum (for author’s mistakes), which will be permanently linked to the original publication for full transparency.

Ethical Oversight
The Journal of Economics Management adheres strictly to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) standards and reserves the right to take appropriate actions against research misconduct to uphold the integrity and credibility of scholarly publishing.
